Portal Tomes also has a small chance of spawning one of two world bosses (either Fleshcraft Hydra or Sandstone Golem), which requires many players to defeat and can drop valuable items such as Legendary gear and Horadric Vessels. Note that you can save up to 5 Portal Tomes, so you do not have to immediately use all of them up each day.
Using a Portal Tome can spawn a portal to one of Kulle's Hidden Chambers, which will challenge you with a horde of monsters and reward you with Enchanted Dust upon completion. Once you have collected 5 Lost Pages, you can use them as Portal Tomes via the Kulle's Hidden Chambers event tab in your Quest Log. Note that Lost Pages can be seen and picked up by any player in the zone, so it's best to collect Pages as quickly as possible and outside of peak server hours. In this zone event, Lost Pages are scattered all around the Library of Zoltun Kulle and you need to collect 5 to turn the Pages into Portal Tomes. How to Change Difficulty In Dungeons Collect Lost Pages in the Library Remember that the Kulle's Hidden Chambers event and the Lost Pages themselves are only available in Hell difficulties so if you haven't yet, return to Westmarch, open your map, and change the World Difficulty to at least Hell I.
